Appreciation Event Celebrates TRIMEDX Foundation Volunteers

In June, TRIMEDX Foundation hosted Foundation volunteers who served in 2025 at a two-day appreciation event in Indianapolis. Foundation volunteers and staff gathered Thursday evening at the Indianapolis Zoo to celebrate the work of our volunteers in 2025. After sharing a delicious meal, attendees heard from Chris O’Connor with Seeds of Change Free Clinic, who shared how the organization’s partnership with The Foundation supports their efforts to provide free, compassionate medical, dental, visual, and auditory care to low-income, uninsured women, children, and families, facilitating their journey to recovery and reintegration into society.

Volunteers in attendance took time to share stories from the past year and what volunteering for the foundation means to them. These heartfelt impactful stories were the highlight of the evening.

The evening celebration concluded with the presentation of gifts awards to the Foundation 2025 volunteers in attendance. Special awards included:

Most Partner Sites Visited: Bill Dixon, 8 partner sites

Most Miles Traveled: Tim Reitz, 41,508 total miles

Virtual Volunteer Awards: Jeff Shaw and Josetta Caudill

Core Value Awards: Michael O’Brien and Tammy Gordon

Extra Mile Awards: Ashley Casilli and Lydia Cayton

On Friday morning, Foundation staff, board members, and volunteers gathered at the Foundation warehouse where they enjoyed breakfast and fellowship while repairing and cleaning donated equipment.

Our volunteers are truly the backbone of everything we do. Thank you to the 74 volunteers, who in 2025 donated more than 2,10 hours of technical service across 48 volunteer medical mission trips and projects serving health care partners around the world.
