Volunteer Spotlight: Greg Taylor

Recently retired Medxcel associate and TRIMEDX Foundation volunteer Greg Taylor, has been on two international trips for TRIMEDX Foundation serving Kenya Relief and CURE Niger.

Q:          Why did you decide to volunteer with TRIMEDX Foundation?

A:           I saw an article in the Foundation newsletter asking for an electrician to go on a mission trip to Kenya.  I had not traveled to Africa and was concerned about the distance.  I had several signs urging me to go on the trip and it confirmed my decision.  One day he heard a Christian song during work urging him to go on the trip.

Q:          Who inspires you?

A:           My wife and father.

Q:          What is something about you (a fun fact) that not many people know?

A:           I love the outdoors, camping and hiking.  I have climbed several of the Fourteeners Mountains in Colorado.  Serving in the Navy and being in a submarine for months gave me a new appreciation for nature.

Q:          If you had to eat one meal every day for the rest of your life, what would you choose?

A:           I appreciate different foods and I am satisfied with the blessing of having food.
