When collaboration becomes global impact

Thanks to the sustained leadership and collaboration of TRIMEDX associates and the TRIMEDX Foundation, a healthcare clinic in Tanzania is on a stronger path forward. This year‑long effort—referred by Sentara Health associates—helped deliver critical medical equipment, consumables, and resources in support of the clinic’s operations and the community it serves. The work prompted a heartfelt thank you from clinic leadership and reflects the kind of global impact made possible through trusted relationships and shared commitment.

Recognized internally as a high‑visibility example of TRIMEDX’s mission in action, the project brought together the TRIMEDX Foundation, TRIMEDX associates, Centurion Service Group, supplier partners, donors, and community collaborators—including a Sentara board member and the Salisbury Rotary Club Tanzania Clinic Project Committee—to help bring the effort to life.

“This has been a high‑visibility project,” says David Stevens, vice president of client experience. “The leadership and support from the TRIMEDX Foundation, TRIMEDX associates, and Centurion Service Group are very much noticed and truly appreciated.”

According to Audra Plopper, executive director of the TRIMEDX Foundation, support for the clinic will continue as additional equipment arrives and operations further develop—extending the impact of this work well beyond its initial delivery and reinforcing the shared commitment of the Foundation and TRIMEDX to advancing health care globally.

This collaboration was supported in part by the time and expertise generously given by TRIMEDX Foundation volunteers, TRIMEDX associates, and Centurion associates who worked—often on weekends—to assess equipment and coordinate preparation and shipment. In total, nearly 90 pieces of medical equipment were prepared and delivered as part of this effort.
