From June 2^nd to June 20^th, the TRIMEDX Foundation launched its annual Spring Pledge Drive. During this three-week period, the number of monthly donors increased to 10% of all TRIMEDX associates. On behalf of the TRIMEDX Foundation associates, the board of directors, and volunteers – thank you for committing to support our mission of raising the standard of healthcare in the communities we serve worldwide.

The TRIMEDX Foundation supports international and domestic healthcare partners to raise the standard of care. Local volunteer team trips are often shorter, but more frequent, to support our state-side partners’ medical equipment, facilities, and organizational needs.

Kyle Havens (TRIMEDX), Ashley Casilli (TRIMEDX), Charlie Hanover (Retired – TRIMEDX), Brandon Plank (GE Healthcare), Jose Gonzalez (TRIMEDX), and Jonathan MarcAurele (TRIMEDX) volunteered more than 90 hours of service to our Midwestern healthcare partners.

Josetta Caudill (TRIMEDX), Ellis Coleman (TRIMEDX), Jerry Maddox (Medxcel), and Tim Reitz (TRIMEDX) flew to Lusaka, Zambia, in February to support Beit-CURE Hospital of Zambia as the TRIMEDX Foundation’s second volunteer team of 2025. Together the team tackled facility evaluations, biomed training, and hospital patient flow but also developed closer relationships with the staff and their mission having opportunities to join staff at the on-site chapel and ward fellowship sessions (see video below).

At the TRIMEDX Foundation, we believe in using our skills to serve others. Jeff Ruiz, a TRIMEDX Senior Site Manager at Sparrow Health System and foundation volunteer, embodies this spirit of service.

The TRIMEDX Foundation began 2025 sending volunteer veterans Bill Dixon (Retired – Kaiser Permante), Greg Taylor (Retired – Medxcel), and Ta Vannarath (Medxcel) to Kenya Relief’s Brase Medical Clinic in Migori, Kenya. The team was among the first volunteers to arrive and quickly went to work to ensure the clinic’s facilities and medical equipment were ready to receive patients awaiting critical healthcare services.

The TRIMEDX Foundation sent 14 volunteers on 5 medical mission trips to kick off our 21^st year of service. Together, Ashley Casilli, Josetta Caudill, Ellis Coleman, Bill Dixon, Charlie Hanover, Kyle Havens, Jose Gonzalez, Jonathan MarcAurele, Jerry Maddox, Tim O’Neill, Brandon Plank, Tim Reitz, Greg Taylor, and Ta Vannarath volunteered 350 hours to support our medical partners across the African continent and throughout the midwestern United States.

Committing to raising the standard of healthcare for communities TRIMEDX Foundation serves isn’t your typical call to service. For many volunteers, like Medxcel team member Kathy Neal, it’s a call to adventure.

Last year, TRIMEDX Foundation scaled up our work for a year of transformation, realigning our work in our 20^th year of raising the global standard of health care. 

This year, the Foundation is digging deep to dedicate ourselves to the work we do best: supporting medical equipment and facility maintenance and repair in underserved communities. We do this by developing sustainable and equitable partnerships through innovation, education, and engagement.

At the beginning of our 20^th year of service, TRIMEDX Foundation promised that 2024 would be nothing short of transformative in dedication to raising the global standard of healthcare. Now, as the year comes to a close, the Foundation is proud to reflect on our second decade of service and celebrate our 2024 milestones:
