The Trimedx Foundation Board of Directors has officially approved the creation of the Gregory M. Ranger Endowed Scholarship for Biomedical Innovation. Established with an initial $50,000 in restricted funding from the Foundation’s overall endowment, the scholarship honors the visionary leadership and lasting legacy of Greg Ranger, founder of both Trimedx and the Trimedx Foundation.

The week of June 15, Trimedx Foundation launched its inaugural Annual Fund Campaign with a simple message:year-round support creates stronger communities.

Trimedx Foundation aims to bridge the global health disparity accessing quality healthcare technology and services in underserved regions around the world through our "Close the Gap" global initiative. To accomplish the goal of closing the gap, we partner with healthcare organizations, technicians, and communities to provide critical training, essential medical equipment, and technical expertise.

Trimedx Foundation is happy to announce that Foundation volunteers who hold AAMI credentials can earn Continuing Education Units (CEUs) for the time they dedicate to volunteering. Through ACI, AAMI’s credentialing body, volunteer hours are eligible under Category 2: Leadership Roles. CEUs are available immediately, and no additional coursework or cost is required.

At TRIMEDX Foundation, our Close the Gap global initiative was created to bridge the gap of disparity in global health, enabling better access to quality healthcare technology and services in underserved regions around the world by partnering with healthcare organizations, technicians, and global communities to provide critical training, essential medical equipment, and technical expertise.

In June, TRIMEDX Foundation hosted Foundation volunteers who served in 2025 at a two-day appreciation event in Indianapolis. Foundation volunteers and staff gathered Thursday evening at the Indianapolis Zoo to celebrate the work of our volunteers in 2025. TRIMEDX Foundation will kick off its inaugural Annual Fund Campaign June 15-19. The campaign is designed to bring awareness to the importance of financial donations that enable us to continue the work of our volunteers throughout the year and to respond to needs as they arise. Financial donations allow us to help sustain the day-to-day work that keeps everything moving between the bigger moments.

As geopolitical stability shifts around the world and technology continues to advance, TRIMEDX Foundation continues to evolve and introduce new ways to meet today’s challenges. In this spirit the Foundation recently conducted its first ever virtual mission trip with partner CURE International in Niger, CURE Hopital des Enfants. Virtual mission trips allow the Foundation and its volunteers to provide real-time technician assistance between visits, or at times when it is unsafe to travel.

For the last two years, the TRIMEDX Foundation associates and volunteers have partnered in developing a new resource to better support the needs of their partners in health around the world. This online platform, the TRIMEDX Foundation Technician Portal, acts as a central hub for ongoing technical support, education, and collaboration with TRIMEDX Foundation global biomedical technician partners.

Thanks to the sustained leadership and collaboration of TRIMEDX associates and the TRIMEDX Foundation, a healthcare clinic in Tanzania is on a stronger path forward. This year‑long effort—referred by Sentara Health associates—helped deliver critical medical equipment, consumables, and resources in support of the clinic’s operations and the community it serves. The work prompted a heartfelt thank you from clinic leadership and reflects the kind of global impact made possible through trusted relationships and shared commitment.
