Celebrating Helen Dennison's 12 years of service to TRIMEDX Foundation

TRIMEDX Foundation Board of Directors and staff are honored to congratulate Helen Dennison for 12 years of service to the Foundation. Helen’s hard work and dedication to TRIMEDX Foundation volunteers and partners is on display every day. In 2011, she began her tenure at the Foundation as administrative assistant. As the organization matured, her responsibilities have developed and transformed into a new role as volunteer coordinator.

TRIMEDX Foundation 2022 Year in Review

2022 was an exciting year for TRIMEDX Foundation. As travel resumed, and COVID restrictions lifted, the organization emerged stronger than ever. Thanks to the generosity of so many, more than $250,000 in annual contributions were received. These gifts allowed the organization to travel across 214,498 miles, supporting healthcare facilities in six different countries while completing 29 mission trips with 42 volunteers.

Foundation’s Q3 FY22 trip summary

After a two-year hiatus due to the pandemic, TRIMEDX Foundation was anxious to resume international mission trips. In July, August, and September, fourteen TRIMEDX Foundation volunteers traveled over 100,000 miles and logged hundreds of volunteer hours. The Foundation team was thrilled to reconnect with our international partners in Niger, Zambia, Uganda, and Kenya, as well as continuing our domestic work in Indiana, Kentucky, and Michigan.

Foundation welcomes Kevin Collazo

The TRIMEDX Foundation is pleased to welcome Kevin Collazo to our team as the biomedical mission specialist. Kevin grew up in Puerto Rico where he obtained his biomedical engineering degree. Having worked as a biomedical technician, and more recently as a TRIMEDX site manager, Kevin brings over 12 years of valuable experience including working in different countries.

Volunteer Spotlight: John Short

TRIMEDX associate and TRIMEDX Foundation volunteer John Short started as an intern in 2000 for TRIMEDX. John went on his first international mission trip in 2007 to Mozambique, Africa, and has been on a total of four international trips for TRIMEDX Foundation. John and his colleague, Randy Smith, support Good News Ministries, a free and reduced cost clinic in Indianapolis for the TRIMEDX Foundation on an annual basis.
