TRIMEDX associate and TRIMEDX Foundation volunteer Franco Wakhisi began his career with TRIMEDX in Indianapolis in the Manager Plus One Program. Franco has been on three trips for TRIMEDX Foundation once to Nigeria and twice to Zambia.
The TRIMEDX Foundation is pleased to welcome Kevin Collazo to our team as the biomedical mission specialist. Kevin grew up in Puerto Rico where he obtained his biomedical engineering degree. Having worked as a biomedical technician, and more recently as a TRIMEDX site manager, Kevin brings over 12 years of valuable experience including working in different countries.
TRIMEDX associate and TRIMEDX Foundation volunteer John Short started as an intern in 2000 for TRIMEDX. John went on his first international mission trip in 2007 to Mozambique, Africa, and has been on a total of four international trips for TRIMEDX Foundation. John and his colleague, Randy Smith, support Good News Ministries, a free and reduced cost clinic in Indianapolis for the TRIMEDX Foundation on an annual basis.
Q: Why did you decide to volunteer with TRIMEDX Foundation?

TRIMEDX Foundation volunteers are rewarded by seeing immediate results from their work and the impact it makes on the mission site, the people, and the communities they serve. No two days are the same, and achievement looks different depending on the successes and challenges encountered.
Charlie Hanover is a retired TRIMEDX associate and now uses his free time to support the TRIMEDX Foundation. Charlie’s first mission trip was to Kenya Relief, located in East Africa. Since that time, he has completed eight mission trips for TRIMEDX Foundation.
Q: Why did you decide to volunteer with TRIMEDX Foundation?
A: I have volunteered in church and local theater for many years. Once I retired and had more availability, I wanted to use my skills to give back. I financially support two children at Kenya Relief.

TRIMEDX Foundation volunteer Eric Waller, Medxcel Area Vice President, went to Kenya Relief in 2017 on the first TRIMEDX Foundation facilities trip.
2021 was a productive year for TRIMEDX Foundation thanks to our compassionate donors, dependable and knowledgeable volunteers, and willing partners. Despite limitations due to COVID-19 the Foundation team continued to meet the unique needs of the communities we serve in the United States and abroad.
TRIMEDX Foundation is pleased to welcome Maryssa Small to the team as administrative assistant. Maryssa joined TRIMEDX Foundation earlier this month (Jan. 2022). She brings experience in marketing, database management, and healthcare administration to the team. With an enthusiastic energy and a heart for serving others, Maryssa is thrilled to be part of the TRIMEDX Foundation.
